Ideate Tech Policy Africa (ITPA) is an organization that aims to inform and influence tech policy processes, engage in multidisciplinary research, litigate on tech law and advise on a diverse range of tech policy issues in Africa. ITPA is focused on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and its intersection with human rights and society. Additional emphasis is placed on issues around human rights and elections in the digital age, data governance, data justice, and the digital economy. ITPA would like to form an African community of tech policy enthusiasts that will help individuals in the ecosystem to connect with each other, share news, events, career opportunities, collaborate, work together, discuss research and policy issues affecting the African continent.
